Semi-Automatic Ice Cream Server (Polytechnic Final Year Project)

  • Designed and programmed a Universal Robots (UR) robot through the use of a Raspberry-Pi 4 with GPIO connection and Python code
  • Managed to serve over hundreds of guests at the Temasek Polytechnic Open House 2019
  • UR robot dispenses and serves the ice-cream to the user while the operator is required to replace new ice-cream cups
  • Troubleshoot and resolved problems with pathing concurrently with operations and cleaned up the code in real-time while monitoring the process
